Aeromexico Reports 3.8 Percent Increase in Passenger Numbers

Grupo Aeromexico, S.A.B. de C.V., the largest intercontinental airline in Mexico, reports operating statistics for November, 2012.

Grupo Aeromexico transported 13 million 530 thousand passengers in the first eleven months of 2012, which represents a 3.8 percent year-on-year increase driven by a 5.5 percent increase in international passenger traffic and a 3.1 percent increase in domestic passenger traffic.

In November 2012, Grupo Aeromexico transported one million 242 thousand passengers, which represents 0.6 percent year-on-year growth for the month of November. Domestic passenger traffic grew 0.4 percent while international passenger traffic increased 1.2 percent in November.

The Company's demand, measured in Revenue Passenger Kilometers (RPKs), increased 4.1 percent and capacity, measured in Available Seat Kilometers (ASKs), increased 6.3 percent in the first eleven months of the year.

Therefore, the load factor for that period was 76.7 percent. In November, Grupo Aeromexico's RPKs increased 2.6 percent and ASKs grew 4.8 percent, year-on-year. The load factor for the month was 76.1 percent.
