American Eagle Launches New Flights from Miami

American Eagle Airlines, the regional affiliate of American Airlines, began nonstop jet service from Miami International Airport (MIA) to Charleston, S.C. and Knoxville, Tenn., as well as to Eleuthera and Treasure Cay in the Bahamas. New service to Governor’s Harbour, Bahamas, begins Nov 20.
“As we celebrate the 20th anniversary of our Miami hub, we are delighted to launch service to these cities,” said Peter Dolara, American’s senior vice president based in Miami. “With these additions, American and American Eagle will operate 276 daily flights from our Miami hub, the most flights ever from Miami. Connecting small and medium-sized cities to American’s global network is one of Eagle’s key missions, and these new flights are sure to benefit customers in South Florida and throughout American’s network.”
To celebrate this new service from Miami, American is offering double AAdvantage miles to all of these new destinations.
