Artex Grows Strong in Granma

Under the co-sponsorship of the Provincial Culture Division in Granma and Tecnoazúcar’s office in that province, the Cuban company Artex S.A Promociones Artísticas y Literarias, inaugurated the La Dulce Mulata cultural center at the historic core of Bayamo City.
It’s an exquisite space where Cuban traditional music can be enjoyed while played by such local bands as Conjunto Virama and Grupo Oro Son, and visitors can sip the delicious house cocktail named Dulce Mulata, prepared with Mulata silver dry, fruit juice and cacao liquor, as well as other Cuban drinks and cocktails, with the special touch of this region of Cuba.
The products of Tecnoazúcar – the Cuban company in charge of trading sugar and its by-products in the national market, such as rums, liquors and assortments, mainly comprised by Mulata, Vigía and Santero brands – are used to prepare the cocktails.
This new cultural center managed by Artex has given the public a facility where people cannot only acquire by-products of sugar cane, but also learn about Cuba’s sugar growing history, which is done through the graphic decoration of the place. The place is open from Monday to Sunday, 12 m - 12:00 p.m.
