Undoubtedly, many artists have produced versions of the work carried out by Cuban sonero over the past 30 years. Known as El Caballero del Son (The Gentleman of Son), he has reinserted this genre in the dance sphere and sonority of salsa in Cuba and overseas.

Descemer Bueno, songwriter, double-bass player, percussionist and musical producer, is one of the most outstanding and popular musicians at the time. He won three Latin Grammy´s in 2015 (Best urban performance, Best urban song and Song of the year); he was given the same number of awards in Premios Lo Nuestro (Video of the year, Song of the year and Collaboration of the year), due to the global success of "Bailando", along with Enrique Iglesias and Gente D´ Zona.

This band’s repertoire merges jazz classics and genres of Cuban popular music like boleros, salsa,... thus creating a contemporary sound, where improvisation plays a leading role and turn each performance into an authentic and unique work of art.

Osdalgia, praised as the successor of Elena Burke and Omara Portuondo, singer of torch music that reached the fame with boleros and romantic ballads in the 1950s, says: “Singing feeling, singing boleros, has nothing to do with following the lead of anybody. It’s a lifestyle, a way to express love.
