Bermuda Tourism Offers Free Trip to Celebrate New Mobile App

The Bermuda Department of Tourism is offering three four-night, five-day vacations for two to the island to celebrate the launch of its first-ever free mobile application. Consumers can enter the contest by Aug. 31, 2011, at www.GoToBermuda.com/freetrip.

Winners will be selected and announced after Labor Day; prize trips will include stays at Bermuda’s Elbow Beach, Bermuda; Fairmont Hamilton Princess and Fairmont Southampton. JetBlue Airways will offer roundtrip flights for each of the winners.

The Bermuda Travel & Vacation Guide mobile application provides vacation planners with access to Bermuda sightseeing locations, golf courses, beaches, hotels, shops and restaurants. It features an interactive map that allows users to browse for Bermuda attractions and share their favorite hot spots and the app via Facebook, Twitter and email.
