Brazil Tourism to Hold Workshops in the U.S.

Brazilian Tourism/Embratur is holding Discover Brazil workshops in Philadelphia and New Brunswick, N.J., for travel agents. There will be an opportunity to meet with representatives from a number of Brazilian states and cities as well as airlines and U.S.-based tour operators.

The evening also features an educational seminar on the entire nation of Brazil. The events will take place Tuesday, June 9, in Philadelphia and Wednesday, June 10, in New Brunswick.

There is no limit on the number of attendees per organization, but everyone must be registered with their name, company name and individual email address. Individual confirmations will be sent for admission.

The Philadelphia event will take place at the Loews Philadelphia Hotel at 1200 Market St. The New Brunswick event will take place at the Hyatt Regency New Brunswick at 2 Albany St.

The schedule is as follows. At 5 p.m. registration opens; 5:30 to 6:15 p.m., trade show with tour operators, airlines and Brazilian destination representatives; 6:15 to 6:45 p.m., Brazil educational presentation; 6:45 to 7:30 p.m., round-table discussions with tour operators; and 7:30 to 8:30 p.m., cocktail reception with live entertainment and travel prize drawings.
