Brazil Tourism Sets September Workshops in the U.S.

Brazilian Tourism/Embratur in the U.S. is offering a series of fall travel agent workshops in Boston, Chicago and Washington, D.C.

The schedule is as follows: Boston, Tuesday, Sept. 22, Radisson Hotel, 200 Stuart St., 617-482-1800 (www.radisson.com/hotels/maboston), hotel self-parking provided; Washington, D.C., Thursday, Sept. 24, Washington Court Hotel, 525 New Jersey Ave., NW, 202-628-2100 (www.washingtoncourthotel.com) , hotel valet parking provided; and Chicago, Tuesday, Sept. 29, Hyatt Regency Hotel, 151 East Wacker Drive, 312-565-1234 (www.chicagoregency.hyatt.com) , hotel valet parking provided.

The “Discover Brazil” Travel Agent Workshop schedule for all cities is as follows: 5:30 p.m., registration opens; 6 to 6:30 p.m., trade show with tour operators, airlines and Brazilian destination representatives; 6:30 to 7 p.m., Brazil educational presentation; 7 to 7:30 p.m., round-table discussions with Brazilian tour operators; and 7:30 to 8:30 p.m., cocktail reception with live entertainment and travel prize drawings. Parking is provided for all registered and confirmed participants.
