Celebrity Cruises’ new Celebrity Solstice will enter service with a Thanksgiving cruise departing Nov. 23, three weeks earlier than its previously announced date of Dec. 14. The Solstice then will operate by two additional seven-night Caribbean cruises departing Nov. 30 and Dec. 7.

The new cruises will sail roundtrip from Fort Lauderdale and will visit San Juan, St. Maarten and St. Kitts. Guests who booked the original maiden voyage of Dec. 14 can switch to the new maiden voyage if they rebook by June 12.

During this two-week rebooking window, guests booked on the Dec. 14 sailing can switch to the Nov. 23 cruise without penalty, in the same stateroom or suite as originally booked, at the original fare.

Guests encountering air-change fees as a result of the switch will be reimbursed for those fees up to $100 per person, provided acceptable proof of fees is presented to Celebrity by Jan. 31, 2009.
