Copa Holdings Reveals Monthly Traffic Statistics for March 2008
Copa Holdings, S.A. and its Copa Airlines and Aero Republica operating subsidiaries, said passenger traffic (RPM) for March 2008 increased 13.2 percent, while capacity (ASM) increased 15.5 percent. This resulted in a load factor of 80.2 percent, a 1.6 percentage point decrease when compared to March 2007.
Aero Republica passenger traffic (RPM) for March 2008 increased 4.1 percent, while capacity (ASM) decreased 9.4 percent. Aero Republica’s load factor for the month was 57.2 percent, a 7.4 percentage point increase when compared to March 2007. Capacity reduction came as a result of Aero Republica’s ongoing transition to smaller gauge EMBRAER-190 aircraft.
