Curacao Celebrates Start of “Travel Agent Appreciation Season”

Curacao is celebrating the start of its “Travel Agent Appreciation Season” with fall airfare and hotel packages. During the period, travel agents can book a roundtrip flight with American Airlines starting from $189 from anywhere in the continental U.S. or Canada, or roundtrip flights with Insel Air offering $180 on fares from Charlotte, N.C.

Hotels across the island are also participating, with rates starting at $62. Participating hotels include the Avila Hotel ($100), Curacao Marriott Beach Resort ($104), Kontiki Dive and Beach Resort ($99), Baoase Luxury Resort ($35 day pass), Breezes Curacao Resort Spa & Casino ($62), Floris Suite Hotel ($75), Hilton Curacao ($99), Hotel Kura Hulanda Spa and Casino ($79), Hyatt Regency Curacao Golf Resort, Spa & Marina ($89), Lions Dive and Beach Resort ($100), Lodge Kura Hulanda and Beach Club ($79), and Renaissance Curacao Resort and Casino ($110).

The Curacao Tourist Board is also providing travel agents with a complimentary, full-day tour of the island’s top highlights on Tuesdays or Fridays from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m., including lunch.
