Elegant Cruises Unveils Details of 2009 Itineraries

Elegant Cruises & Tours, a niche cruise line specializing in culturally focused travel, announced its new 2009 itineraries for the 104-passenger Andrea and the 62-passenger Monet.

The Andrea will cruise the waterways of Europe and Antarctica, while the Monet will be positioned in the Adriatic and Red seas. Elegant Cruises & Tours offers cruises of seven to 21 days that will visit 90 ports of call in 2009.

Among the 2009 highlights for Andrea are a transatlantic voyage from Buenos Aires to Cadiz, Spain, March 11 to April 3; a voyage to Madeira and the Azores, April 14 to 23; Azores, May 2 to 8; Vigo, Spain, to Greenock, Scotland, stopping in France, England, Ireland and the British Isles, May 11 to 23; Greenock to Bilbao, Spain, visiting Ireland, Isles of Sicily, England, the Channel Isles, Guernsey Island, Jersey Island, and France, July 20 to Aug. 3, 2009; and the Western Mediterranean from Barcelona to Valletta, Malta, visiting Italy, France, Corsica, Sardinia and Sicily, Aug. 8 to 17, 2009.
