Excelencias Group Launches Special Magazine Issue for 2014 FITCuba

The launch of a Special Issue of its Excelencias Turísticas magazine is part of the actions to be carried out by Grupo Excelencias within the framework of the International Tourism Show, 2014 FITCuba.

The 123rd issue of this magazine counts 144 pages, with a section devoted to the historical, cultural, economic and tourism relation between Cuba and France, with articles penned by outstanding researchers, essayists and journalists.

It also features an exclusive interview to minister of tourism Manuel Marrero on the present and future of the Cuban- French ties in the field of travel and tourism. There is a section that describes Havana as the most important tourism region in the country, the venue of FITCuba.

The magazine includes a special on Hemingway in Havana, several advertorials on the main hotels, entertainment groups and non-hotel services on the island, culture, art, and music with the Grapefruit Festival.

Readers can also enjoy articles on natural parks in Venezuela, summer musical festivals in Curacao, special section on Panama, with reports on that country, and a special by Viajes por Excelencias, dedicated to Torremolinos, the cradle of Spanish tourism (Costa del Sol, where the tourism day was established), and that’s where the ninth edition of Euroal Fair (Europe, Latin America) is going to take place this year.

The issue also includes an exclusive interview with the secretary general of the World Travel Organization (UNWTO), Mr. Taleb Rifai.
