FITCuba 2013: Tour Operators to Visit Cuban Village of Trinidad

Promotion plays a major role in the proper marketing of tourism destinations, which will ultimately bring in bigger revenues. That is why the addition of Trinidad in the post-tour program of the 33rd International Tourism Fair Cuba 2013 –the major professional tourism event on the island nation- is indeed a plausible idea.

According to Dariel Hernandez Aleman, head of the Commercial Division at Sancti Spiritus’s Provincial Delegation of the Ministry of Tourism (MINTUR), the echoes of the fair –currently underway through May 11 in Varadero- will reach the village of Trinidad next May 11 and 12.

Visitor will make a grand tour around the village –it was declared World Cultural Heritage- as well as nearby locations like the Sugar Mills Valley, the Manaca Iznaga settlement and Ma. Dolores Farmhouse.

MINTUR sources also said that tour operators are also invited to visit other local travel destinations, such as the city of Sancti Spiritus, Banao Hills Ecological Reserve and Caguanes National Park, among others.
