FITCuba 2015 to Take Place in Jardines del Rey

Cuba’s Tourism Minister, Manuel Marrero, announced on 2014 FITCuba’s Special Evening that Cuba’s 2015 International Tourism Show (FITCuba is the Spanish acronym) is going to be held on Cayo Coco, Jardines del Rey and it will be dedicated to the art of sailing.

The Minister gave his speech at the Cathedral Square, organized by Cuba’s Tourism Ministry as part of the Show’s activities so as to honor the attendees.

Cayo Coco is an island right in the central region of Cuba, it has a 230-square-mile overall surface, so it’s the country’s fourth largest island; famous due to its luxurious all-inclusive tourism facilities and gorgeous beaches with white sand and crystal-clear waters. It is nestled in Ciego de Avila province and is part of an island chain known as «Jardines del Rey».

Cayo Coco island features its own international airport, Jardines del Rey International Airport, which has facilitated that, since 2005, the tourists can directly fly to that airport instead of doing it throughout Cuba.
