GIATA, Google Sign License Agreement

Google has signed a license agreement for GIATA’s Multilingual Hotel Guide and GIATA MultiCodes.
With licensing these two products, Google gains access to over 265,000 hotel descriptions in 24 languages, including hotel facts, amenities and pictures. GIATA’s MultiCodes database is the world’s largest hotel mapping service.
GIATA recently announced that MultiCodes has reached an accuracy level of over 99.999% for 686,000 unique hotel properties, 50,000 vacation rental properties, 47 million supplier codes, 330,000 manually researched geocodes, 442,000 hotels with star ratings and 83,000 hotel chain affiliations.
Additionally, it is possible for 21,000 GIATA partners to communicate using the GIATA ID as Master ID and/or Transaction ID in their booking databases, which makes mapping redundant.
