Grenada Airlift Committee Holds Talks with Caribbean Airlines

Grenada's tourism and civil aviation minister, Yolande Bain-Horsford, led a delegation comprising chairman of the airlift committee, Glynn Evans, and general manager of the Grenada Airports Authority, Wendy Williams to Trinidad for a one-day meeting with Caribbean Airlines officials.
Since late last year direct flights from Canada and the United States have been significantly affected because of the airline’s decision to reroute its flights through Trinidad.
The intention of the meeting was to renegotiate with Caribbean Airlines to increase direct regional and international flights to Grenada.
While in Trinidad, Bain-Horsford also paid a courtesy visit to her counterpart minister, Sampha Cudjoe. Both held discussions on collaborative civil aviation and tourism efforts.
