Humidors, Artists Got Plenty of Attention at Habano Festival

Just about to turn its first five years, the Sikerei Paris Project attended the 16th edition of the Habano Festival and had its moment on the limelight.

The humidors presented to the guests were spruced up by fine artists. This time around, they were exhibited at the Casa del Habano right behind the Havana Capitol.

Over twenty Cuban painters have signed up for this project whose catalog is enhanced every year with exclusive artworks. In the same breath, it helps Cuban artists to get plenty of media hype, including the likes of Zaida del Rio, Milton Bernal and Carlos Guzman.

During his keynote speech at the presentation, Angel Miranda thanked the Casa del Habano outlet and the participating artists for this opportunity. Cuban artist Saul Rojas put on a good show of his own with a special performance for the occasion.
