Mexico City, New York Come Together to Step Up Tourism

In spite of President Donald Trump’s travel bans and stringent immigration policies, the tourism officials of New York want to make the Mexican visitors understand that the city is still welcoming tourists with open hands.
NYC & Company has now improved its partnership with its Mexico City counterpart. They declared a plan to encourage travel to both of the countries.
Fred Dixon, NYC & Company’s CEO said that in order to keep the bond strong like earlier times, especially when the trends have started showing fewer proliferations of tourists from countries like Canada, Mexico and Europe will be traveling to Big Apple this year.
To quote Dixon, ‘It was an important moment with everything going on in the world to let them know that we value their businesses and we still welcome Mexicans to New York City.’ Both the countries will jointly initiate marketing campaigns that will lure tourists to both the nations. It will start from April 25th with huge display of Ads in Mexico with messages like ‘New York City — Le da la bienvenida al mundo” or “New York City — welcoming the world.’
Mexican visitors will be offered special promotional travel discounts which would be valid from May 1 to July 31. In LinkNYC kiosks and various bus shelters located in and around New York, will feature special ads for travel to Mexico City from now on.
