Mexico finished runner-up among the continent’s countries with the lowest prices and fares, and also second in terms of competitiveness and commercial reforms. In that same category, the Dominican Republic was the undisputed winner.
The United States and Canada ranked as the two most expensive countries in the region, while Mexico finished dead last among the nations with the largest amount of people involved in the travel industry and their impact on the national economy.
