MSC Cruises Sponsors Capri Cow Parade
MSC Cruises is a sponsor of CowParade 2008 in Capri, Italy, so two artist-created fiberglass cows bear the MSC logo. The open-air art event is being held in Capri through July 11.
The two MSC cows are entitled MSC Yacht Club and MSC Crociere and will be placed in Via Camerelle and at near the funicular cable wagons. The CowParade began in 1998 from an idea of the Swiss sculptor Pascal Knapp, and since been held in more than 40 cities around the world.
At the end of the two-month exhibition, the cows will be auctioned by Sotheby’s and the funds raised donated to the “Fondazione Cannavaro Ferrara” for projects to help children who live in difficult conditions throughout Italy.
Argentinean model Belen Rodriguez was the MSC Cruises spokesperson for this event. With this sponsorship, MSC Cruises continues to confirm its commitment to the cultural initiatives linked to the Neapolitan areas.
