MSC to Move Orchestra to Caribbean in 2009
MSC Cruises will more than double its presence in the Caribbean next winter with the addition of the MSC Orchestra, currently its newest and largest ship.
The 2,550-passenger, 92,400-ton vessel will operate seven-day itineraries from Fort Lauderdale between Jan. 2 and April 25, 2009, offering eastern and western Caribbean sailings. Meanwhile, the MSC Lirica will continue to operate in the region, sailing 10-day trips to the southern Caribbean.
MSC also formed its first agent loyalty program, called MSC Rewards True Partner Loyalty Club.
