New Airlift from Canada to Grenada

Sunrise International Airways Inc. and Sunwing Airline made their first flight into Grenada on Tuesday. There were over ninety passengers on this inaugural flight into Grenada, including Ramnarine Tiwari, President & CEO of Sunrise International Airways, Niko Kosmas Manager, Ground Operations of Sunwing Airlines and Grenada’s Consul General to Canada, Jenny Gumbs.

There was positive feedback from several passengers on Tuesday’s flight. Many commended the crew for providing a smooth flight and wonderful in-flight hospitality, which included welcome champagne, warn meal and complimentary snacks and beverages.

Director, William Joseph and public relations officer, Edwin Frank of the Grenada Board of Tourism traveled on the return flight, to participate in scheduled tourism activities in Toronto.

The Sunrise International Airways and Sunwing Airlines partnership is expected to maintain year-round, weekly, direct flights out of Toronto to Grenada.
