New Excursions on Tap at Secret Bay in Dominica
Secret Bay, the six-villa, cliffside resort on Dominica’s northwest coast, has upped its excursion offerings for guests this winter with the addition of the Waitukubli by Sea journey that features a boat ride from the resort to Capuchin on the northernmost point of the island.
Along the way, the guide points out sites that can be seen from the water, including portions of Dominica’s Waitukubli National Trail, the Caribbean’s first long-distance hiking trail at 115 miles in length.
The tour, priced at $300 per person, features snorkeling at the 45-foot deep Toucari Cave Reef and the Douglas Bay Point Reef, followed by snacks and drinks on board the 20-foot speedboat.
Also new at Secret Bay is the 30-minute night snorkeling tour off Ti Bay Beach at the resort. New in-room technology at the resort features Apple TV and a Netflix account for each villa.
A redesigned website at www.secretbay.com offers new photos and videos and an easy-to-use navigation system.
