New MSC Poesia to Cruise Eastern Mediterranean

MSC Cruises’ new flagship, the MSC Poesia, will depart on seven-night cruises to Greece, Turkey and Croatia from Venice every Saturday through Nov. 8. The 92,400-ton ship has 1,275 staterooms, of which 80 percent are outside staterooms and 65 percent have a balcony.

There are 13 passenger decks with two pools, four hot tubs and a 16,000-square-foot Aurea Spa. MSC Poesia’s Eastern Mediterranean cruises visit Bari, Katakolon, Izmir, Istanbul and Dubrovnik. Cruise-only rates for balcony staterooms begin at $999 per person, double occupancy.

Kids 17 or younger sail free when sharing a stateroom with two full-fare-paying adults. Government fees and taxes for all guests are additional, as well as a fuel surcharge for the first and second guests in a stateroom.
