Old Washington-Based Nuclear Weapon Facility Becomes Tourist Attraction

The nuclear weapon production site in Washington has now become its most coveted national park. The main attraction will be type B Reactors in Hanford, which are world’s full sized reactors.

The Hanford Nuclear Reservation expects thousands of visitors next year near Richland, which is about 200 miles from Seattle in South central Washington. However visitors will not be allowed to go close to the region where the nation’s largest toxic radioactive waste gets collected.

The area where the Manhattan project has been erected is also a potential tourist attraction which was evacuated by the government to make room. These are ghost town is Hanford and White Bluffs. This World War II site is an atomic bomb construction site build the U.S. and is known to all as the Manhattan Project.
