Quai D’Orsay to Bask in the Habano Festival’s Limelight

The Quai D’Orsay brand has stepped into a new and promising stage. It has done it by showcasing a new design and launching two exclusive vitolas, to be distributed in Habanos S.A.’s main markets around the world.

In the 19th edition of the Habano Festival, Quai D’Orsay introduces its vitolas Quai D’Orsay No. 50 (50 x 110 mm) and Quai D’Orsay No. 54 (54 x 135 mm), both in presentations of 10 and 25 units, which join Coronas Claro (42 x 142 mm) to make up a suggestive brand portfolio that will be available worldwide by means of the habanos exclusive distributors. Quai D’Orsay’s No. 54 (54 x 135 mm) vitola, named Edmundo Grueso, is a new member of Habanos S.A.’s regular portfolio.

This challenge for the brand includes new design and brandings aimed at strengthening the presentation of the boxes. The band shows its original structural characteristic, with geometric lines, but the size is bigger and the printing techniques are better, with different gilt hues, reliefs and layouts, besides the name of each vitola. The brand’s origin has also gained presence and exposure with words “Habana” and “Cuba” in the center and sides of the band. A simplified version of this new ring was introduced in the Edición Regional 2016 for the French market, with Quai D’Orsay Secreto Cubano (40 x 110 mm).

Besides the band, new brandings will be strengthening the brand’s codes on the box, since all the containers are going to showcase new paper label and sideline paper label.

The new vitolas, Quai D’Orsay No. 50 (50 x 110 mm) and Quai D’Orsay No. 54 (54 x 135 mm), join the regular portfolio with the same mild, nice and elegant taste of Cuban tobacco that has characterized the brand since day one.

This global launch is an opportunity for smokers from around the planet to discover and enjoy this special brand of habanos, with refinement and French “charme” and the all the taste, character and intensity of the very best Cuban cigar.

All habanos in Quai D’Orsay brand have been Totally Rolled by Hand with Long Filler and leaves taken from Vuelta Abajo –the best tobacco-growing area on the face of the earth– in the region of Pinar del Rio, Cuba.
