Regent Seven Seas Cruises said September was a record booking month, with the past three days being the busiest in the company’s history.

The company credits the record booking activity to the culmination of promotional offers on its ultra-inclusive 2010 voyages which expired at month-end.

“The surge in bookings is a direct result of the compelling offers we have in the marketplace,” said Mark Conroy, president of Regent Seven Seas Cruises. Many of the line’s 2010 voyages are either sold out or have limited availability. The strengthening demand has prompted RSSC to raise prices on almost half of its remaining departures, effective Oct. 1. Another price increase is slated effective Jan. 1.

“Our decision to introduce the world’s most all-inclusive luxury cruise product has clearly struck a chord with savvy consumers, who recognize the outstanding quality and value of the Regent Seven Seas Cruises product,” Conroy said. “Our travel agent partners have also responded by bringing new customers to the brand and, at the same time, earning higher commissions through the virtual elimination of NCFs on our 2010 products.”

The company said it expects the remainder of the 2010 voyages to continue selling at a brisk pace. Free air, two-for-one cruise fares, free shore excursions and additional savings are still available.
