Russia Remains Top-Priority Travel Market for Cuba
The important historical links between Cuba and Russia makes the latter a prioritized tourism market for the Latin American country, Cuban Tourism First Deputy Minister, Alexis Trujillo, said last week at the 2016 International Fair MITT.
He assured that despite the important growth of the Cuban tourism destinations in other parts of the world, and a reduction in the Caribbean island, Russia has been an important market for a long time.
Trujillo stressed that Russians love the beauty of the island and the friendliness of its people, “and that makes us see clearly that this market should pay great attention, even when currently Western economic sanctions and low oil prices cause an unfavorable situation”.
This is the reason why a large delegation of institutions of the Cuban tourist system is present at the international exhibition MITT-2016, the official said in an interview to Prensa Latina.
Trujillo insisted on the fact that Cuba fights for a quality adapted in the service and because the traveller should receive an offer at a height of the price that he pays.
Therefore, our forces have to be mobilized to assure quality and delight for our visitors, he reasserted.
