Susi Diaz: “Cuba Rises like Suds Foam”

“You guys are rising like suds foams, all the way to the top. Cuba is all the rage and this is an opportunity to raise the bar of your gastronomy, share views and learn together. That’s why I’m here,” said Chef Susi Diaz, one of the Top Chef jurors, during the opening session of the 6th International Excelencias Gourmet Gastronomic Seminar unfolding at the Hotel Nacional de Cuba.
“This is my second visit to Cuba and I’m far more emotional now,” said Mrs. Diaz before starting her lecture and cooking show entitled Decoration: Another Ingredient on the Plate.
Moreover, Mrs. Diaz screened a video in which she shows her knowhow, secrets and directions as far as cooking ways are concerned. She spelled out the innermost secrets of scenting oils and talked about different cooking ways for seafood and fish.
The main course, however, was her cooking show in which she used three cocktails that she turned into edible items: Cuba Libre, Mojito and Negroni. Susi Diaz put on a mastery show live on how to bake cookies -they were later on doled out among attendees.
