U.S. Virgin Islands Offers Winter Escape Packages

The U.S. Virgin Islands is offering travelers bonus savings on getaways to the Territory with “Winter Escape” packages offered in partnership with participating hotels. The packages offer $500 rebates on bookings of five nights or more at participating hotels and applies to new bookings made beginning Nov. 30, 2010, for travel between Jan. 3 and April 24, 2011.

Hotels participating in the Winter Escape offer include The Buccaneer, Chenay Bay Beach Resort, Club St. Croix, Colony Cove, Divi Carina Bay Resort, Frederiksted Hotel, Hibiscus Beach Resort, Hotel Caravelle, Renaissance St. Croix Carambola Beach Resort & Spa, Sand Castle on the Beach and Tamarind Reef Hotel on St. Croix; Gallows Point Resort and Westin St. John Resort & Villas on St. John and The Anchorage Beach Resort, Best Western Carib Beach Resort, Best Western Emerald Beach Resort, Bolongo Bay Beach Resort, Crystal Cove, Marriott Frenchman’s Reef, Pavilions & Pools, Point Pleasant, The Ritz-Carlton St. Thomas, Sapphire Beach Resort, Sapphire Village, Windward Passage Hotel and Wyndham Sugar Bay Resort & Spa on St. Thomas.

Reservations can be made between Nov. 1 through Nov. 30, 2010, through Apple Vacations, CheapCaribbean, LibGo Travel, MLT Vacations, Pleasant Holidays, Travel Impressions and US Airways. Reservations can also be made exclusively through FunJet through Nov. 30, 2010.
