U.S. Virgin Islands Presents Dive in Five Promotion

The U.S. Virgin Islands Department of Tourism is offering divers an opportunity to save up to $300 on dives with its Dive in Five promotion. The package, which is bookable through Sept. 30 for travel between June 1 and Oct. 31 includes a $300 dive credit for those who reserve a five-night-stay or more.
“The U.S. Virgin Islands is one of the few places in the Caribbean where travelers can experience five types of dives -- wall, wreck, reef, shore and pier -- in a single destination” said Commissioner of Tourism Beverly Nicholson-Doty. “As one of the most diverse dive destinations in the Caribbean, we wanted to give travelers the opportunity to experience all the dive offerings we have with enough time to also unwind and enjoy our fine restaurants and attractions.”
Each of the three islands that comprise the territory has unique underwater experiences to offer. St. Croix is blessed with spectacular wall diving and the most abundant near shore and beach diving, including the pier at Frederiksted, one of the leading pier dive sites in the Caribbean.
Known for its pristine beaches and protected bays, St. John offers splendid reef diving at nearby uninhabited cays and along its south shore within the waters of the Virgin Islands National Park. Meanwhile, St. Thomas boasts over a dozen wrecks, such as the 327-foot WIT Shoal II, a Navy LST which served in World War II, and a variety of other sites featuring coral gardens, tunnels, archways and overhangs home to sea turtles, nurse sharks and schooling reef fish.
The Dive in Five package is bookable exclusively through Caradonna Dive Adventures (www.caradonna.com/go/USVI) and requires a five-night minimum stay with a limit of one $300 savings per booking. The offer is not valid on preexisting reservations and does not include airfare taxes/fees and/or destination charges. This offer is not valid for consumers residing in the U.S. Virgin Islands. Restrictions apply.
