Victoria Cruises Announces Olympic Games Sale

Victoria Cruises is featuring a Beijing Summer Olympics celebration offering 50 percent off published rates on bookings for Aug. 8 to 24 departures of its Yangtze River cruises in China.

With rates as low as $338 per person, double, for a four-day Yangtze cruise, travelers can explore the valleys that comprise the Three Gorges (Qutang, Wu and Xiling gorges) and visit the recently completed Three Gorges Dam. Shore excursions cost an additional $80 to $225 per person, depending on the length of itinerary, and may also include the Small Gorges, reached through the Yangtze’s Daning and Shennong river tributaries, or the “ghost city” of Fengdu, with its gardens, temples and statues of ghosts and devils.
