Preliminary estimates for the second quarter of 2011 show a 5.3 percent increase in domestic visitors, a 17.3 percent increase in the overseas market and an 18.4 percent increase in Canadian travel to Florida.
Of the 21.2 million visitors Florida welcomed this past quarter, domestic visitation represents 18.1 million or an estimated 85.4 percent of total; overseas visitors at 2.2 million or 10.3 percent of total; and Canadian visitors at 879,000 or 4.2 percent of total.
