WINAIR to Start Flights to San Juan, Antigua

Flights to San Juan and Antigua will be commenced by St. Maarten-based WINAIR starting Nov. 28 and Dec. 15, respectively, an airline official told EFE on Wednesday.

Flights between St. Maarten’s Princess Julianna Airport and Luis Muñoz Marin International Airport in San Juan will operate four times a week, while WINAIR will fly daily to and from Antigua.

Still recovering from Tropical Storm Erika, WINAIR resumed limited service to Dominica earlier this month. It expects to offer four flights a week to the island by November 8.

There are also plans by the airline to add flights to St. Kitts and Nevis and to Tortola in the British Virgin Islands.
