Canadian low-cost airline, Swoop, is coming to Montego Bay, Jamaica as its first Caribbean sun-destination.

The 137-square-metre lounge features such amenities as a full-service bar offering a wide selection of beverages, including Canadian wines and specialty coffees.

Low-cost carrier Swoop is dipping its toe in the Caribbean Sea with new flights out of John C. Munro Hamilton International Airport (YHM) to Montego Bay’s Sangster International Airport (MBJ) starting Dec. 16.

Costa Rica and the UAE established embassies in San Jose and Abu Dhabi in 2017 and 2018, respectively, and citizens of both countries do not require a visa to travel between both countries.

American is already the only United States-based airline to offer live TV on international flights.

Jamaica’s Tourism Minister said that commencing this October, several new flights will be making their landing at the Sangster International Airport, in Montego Bay, St James, directly out of Eastern Europe.
