This is the second year the airline has offered direct flights after the opening of the Argyle International Airport in St. Vincent on February 2017, and the first-time offering year-round to Canadian travelers.

The service will begin on December 22, 2018, and will run until April 20, 2019. It will be a once per week flight on Saturdays.

Under the 2019 summer schedule, there will thus be three regular scheduled connections to the USA operated from Václav Havel Airport Prague.

Cayman Airways’ fleet currently includes three Boeing 737-700s and one Boeing 737-800. among others. At the time of writing, the carrier’s US network include Miami, Tampa, and New York JFK.

WestJet has announced the appointment of Captain Jeffrey Martin to the position of Chief Operating Officer. Martin joins WestJet on Sept. 24 pending Canadian immigration approval.

The International Air Transport Association has announced healthy global passenger demand for July with all regions reporting growth. Total revenue passenger kilometers climbed 6.2 percent compared to the same month last year.
