The new flights offer Sun Country customers direct access to a popular vacation destination in the Caribbean Sea, and a new option to get to Arizona's popular Sonoran Desert city.

Air Canada today announced that St Vincent and the Grenadines is one of six new routes for the airline’s winter season.

Air Canada is boosting its 2017-18 schedule with six new seasonal routes, including five on Air Canada Rouge – Vancouver-Orlando, Toronto-Belize, Toronto-St. Vincent, Montreal-Lima and Montreal-Phoenix – and one on Air Canada (Vancouver-Melbourne).

An agreement to operate joint flights was signed on Friday between Star Alliance members Copa and Turkish Airlines, and is a major game changer for the travel industry of Latin America and the Caribbean.

The Zurich-based Swiss airline, Edelweiss Air, which operates flights to many European cities, North America, Asia, North Africa and the Caribbean, will start offering direct travel to and from Costa Rica May 9.

Last night saw the inaugural Air Europa flight take off from Madrid’s Adolfo Suarez Barajas airport to San Pedro Sula – the first of its kind to connect Europe directly with Honduras.
