Southwest Airlines will be filing an application with the US Department of Transportation to offer new daily flights to Cancun, the company announced.

The first step has been taken to enable Iberia to join British Airways, Finnair and Japan Airlines in their successful joint business on flights between Europe and Japan.

British Airways is launching the only direct flight between London and Santiago, Chile from January 3rd, 2017.

The four-a-week flight will be served by the airline’s newest aircraft, the four-cabin Boeing 787-9 Dreamliner, complete with a new First cabin.
