One of the concrete outcomes of the seventh summit of heads of government of the Union of South American Nations (UNASUR) held in Suriname last week, along with the state visit of Venezuelan President Nicolas Maduro to Guyana on Saturday, was an agreement to link Guyana and Suriname with Venezuela by air by November this year.

Thomson and First Choice have confirmed they will add direct Dreamliner flights from Glasgow Airport to Punta Cana in the Dominican Republic for summer 2014.

Transaero Airlines will launch scheduled flights on the Moscow-Dubai route from September 20th, 2013. This is a traditional route in the airline’s network. Transaero has been performing charter flights to Dubai for more than ten years and has become the leader in terms of passenger traffic between Russia and the UAE.

On Tuesday, the presentation “Costa Rica to Feel and Live” took place, presented by the Tourism Department of Costa Rica in association with Peruvian Airlines. The event was focused displaying the various attractions that Costa Rica has to offer.
