Voyage Travel Services (VTS) inaugurated Friday its first charter flight, Nassau-Haiti. A delegation of entrepreneurs [of Bahamians of Haitian descent, mostly] and journalists, have traveled with those responsible for VTS. A presentation was made to members of the delegation on the investment opportunities offered by Haiti in the tourism sector.

Air Europa has announced the launch of a new route to Sao Paulo, Brazil’s economic capital and the largest city in South America. As of December 16th this year, the airline will fly five times a week from London Gatwick via Madrid Barajas.

Avianca will launch a new nonstop flight frequency on the Bogota- Havana-Bogota route. The airline will offer more travel options for inbound and outbound tourism between Latin America and the Caribbean. This link between Colombia and Cuba will be operated by Airbus A319 aircraft with capacity for 120 passengers.
