Beginning December 15, 2010, Alaska Airlines will beef up its flights between San Jose, California, and Guadalajara, Mexico, and between Sacramento, California, and Guadalajara, starting December 16, 2010.

Air Canada is boosting international flights from Vancouver to Asia beginning this winter season. The airline also welcomed Premier Campbell’s announcement of his government’s commitment in proposing legislation to eliminate the provincial aviation fuel tax for international flights from British Columbia.

GOL Linhas Aereas Inteligentes S.A., a major low-fare Latin American carrier, has entered into a commercial agreement with NOAR Linhas Aereas, a Brazilian regional carrier, to sell the latter’s tickets in all its sales channels.

American Airlines has launched codesharing on flights operated by GOL Airlines between Sao Paulo and Salvador, Belem, Brasilia, Curitiba, Fortaleza, Manaus, Natal, Porto Alegre and Recife, as well as between Rio de Janeiro and Porto Alegre.
