KLM Royal Dutch Airlines will resume its service between Amsterdam Airport Schiphol and Aruba Airport Queen Beatrix on 1 February 2010. The twice weekly service will be operated in combination with the existing Curacao service.

Emirates, the international airline of the United Arab Emirates, is to start flights to Madrid, providing the only scheduled passenger service between Dubai and Spain. The daily, non-stop service begins from 1st August, making the Spanish capital the carrier’s 25th destination in Europe.

Iberia has scheduled a number of new flights between Madrid and Lima, Buenos Aires, Bogota, Quito and Havana. The four new direct flights to Lima represent an increase of some 40 percent, and raises the total number of weekly return flights to 11.
