Cayman Airways will execute the second stage of its new flight plan with the launch of its winter schedule on November 9. The initial stage was set in motion June 24 with the introduction of the carrier’s twice-weekly nonstop service between New York (Kennedy) and Grand Cayman.

Virgin Blue Holdings Limited today announced a net profit after tax of $174 million for the fiscal year ended 30 June, 2007, a 92.9 percent improvement from the previous year.
JetBlue Airways Corp. will offer service from Boston to Santiago in the Dominican Republic between December 12 and January15, the only nonstop service available between those two cities. Those flights arrive and leave in the early morning hours.
The carrier said airfares start at $218 round trip, with tickets going on sale at noon today.
