Discussions surrounding the merger acquisition agreement for LIAT (1974) Ltd to purchase Caribbean Star Airlines Ltd remain on track, according to a recent press release.
The success of Iberia’s new Madrid-Algiers route, which opened just two months ago, has prompted the Spanish airline to add another flight, raising the weekly total to three. The new flight will start on April 11 Iberia will use an Airbus A-319 for the Wednesday flight.

Continental Airlines has said that it fully supports the recently announced open skies agreement between the U.S. and the European Union. The airline has always favored open skies treaties, as long as they create a level, competitive playing field.
TAM Mercosur, TAM’s subsidiary headquartered in Asuncion (Paraguay), will start operating on March 29, a new international flight from Sao Paulo to Cordoba (Argentina). This flight aims to fulfill increasing demand for this route.
