Travel giant Expedia is making big moves in Haiti. The company reported this week that it had been making a “significant” expansion in Haiti, as the country looks to build its tourism sector.

There’s a big new project coming to Portmore, Jamaica. Jamaica Prime Minister Portia Simpson Miller announced this week that the former Forum Hotel had been purchased by a Jamaican private sector group called Portmore Marina Development for $3.05 million USD.
