
Enterprise Holdings announced today that it is expanding into Latin America with the appointment of Grupo ANC as an Enterprise Rent-A-Car franchise partner in Costa Rica, Guatemala and Nicaragua. The company also owns and operates National Car Rental and Alamo Rent A Car as well as its flagship Enterprise Rent-A-Car brand.

Splendour of the Seas will complete all scheduled open deployment, and no sailings will be altered or disrupted due to the sale. The ship's final sailing will commence on April 4, 2016, and all officers and crew will remain with the company and will be transferred to other vessels worldwide.

International Consolidated Airlines Group has released results for the year to December 31st, 2014, revealing the operating profit €1,390 million. This is up from €770 million in the previous year. Revenue for the year up was up eight percent to €20,170 million.

Just a few weeks after buying Travelocity for $280 million, Expedia is at it again. The travel giant announced Thursday that it had paid the equivalent of $1.6 billion to acquire rival travel company Orbitz. Expedia has become a significant player in the Caribbean tourism industry.
China is planning to continue its housing construction project in Grenada. Grenada Housing Minister Delma Thomas said this week that the country’s government had signed a new agreement with China for “additional houses.”
