SeaDream Yacht Club is offering savings and spa credit on 2009 Mediterranean voyages booked by March 31. SeaDream is offering up to 59 percent savings off published fares for select Mediterranean voyages, along with a $200-per-stateroom spa credit.
Royal Caribbean International is offering vacationers a “Clues to the Cruise” promotion that challenges consumers to explore the “Nation of Why Not,” as featured in the line’s new ad campaign.
Royal Caribbean International will deploy eight ships in Europe for 2010. Itineraries range from four to 14 nights in the Mediterranean, and Northern and Western Europe. In addition to the Freedom-class Independence of the Seas, Royal Caribbean also will position three Voyager-class ships in the region for the first time, with Adventure of the Seas to make its European debut and join sister-ships Navigator of the Seas and Voyager of the Seas. Also sailing European waters in 2010 will be Brilliance of the Seas, Jewel of the Seas, Splendour of the Seas and Vision of the Seas. In all, Royal Caribbean is unveiling 57 Europe itineraries that visit 22 countries and 55 ports. Bookings are open for 2010 Europe cruises and cruise-tours. The 2010 season will debut Adventure of the Seas’ seven-night sailings from Malaga, Spain, and Vision of the Seas’ 12-night Holy Land voyages from Venice, Italy. Also brand new for Royal Caribbean in 2010 will be maiden port calls at Akureyri, Iceland, and Gothenburg, Sweden. Guests also can combine a cruise with three-, four- and five-night escorted land tours to Madrid and Barcelona; Venice, Florence and Rome; Italian Lakes featuring Lake Como, Stresa and Venice; and Paris and London. A tour director will escort each group, and ground transfers, hotel reservations, city tours and some meals are inclusive.
Norwegian Cruise Line has launched a new “Welcome Aboard” booklet, which features everything a guest needs to know before sailing. The 21-page booklet is one of the more than 75 new programs and services launched as part of Partnership 2.0, NCL’s company-wide commitment to its travel partners.
Azamara Cruises is unbundling air fare from the price of its voyages. Effective March 2, Azamara pricing will be as cruise-only.
Windstar Cruises has launched its Concierge Collection of shore excursions designed to appeal to guests who are looking for extraordinary experiences in Europe. Windstar offers 28 Concierge Collection excursions in Corsica, Croatia, Greece, France, Italy, Monaco, Slovenia and Spain and are limited to groups of six to 25 guests.
