Puerto Rico is getting set to host one of the Caribbean’s leading hotel summits. CHIEF will be held at the El Conquistador Resort in Puerto Rico next week Sept. 30-Oct. 2.

Minister of Tourism Clarice Modeste-Curwen announced the news at the conclusion of last week’s 2016 conference in Barbados.

The World Travel Awards named Jamaica the Caribbean's leading destination for 2016 at a gala ceremony held over the weekend at Sandals Ochi Beach Resort in Ocho Rios.
