The World Tourism Organization is piecing together a major conference on the Tourism Satellite Account (TSA) at the Iguazu Falls from October 3 to 6 in what promises to be a breaking point in “understanding tourism and designing strategies”.
The conference is jointly organized and hosted by WTO and the Governments of Brazil, Argentina and Paraguay.
The World Travel & Tourism Council (WTTC) announced that Washington DC, USA, would be the venue of the Sixth Global Travel & Tourism Summit, taking place from April 10 to 12, 2006.
The Summit is the highest profile event for one of the largest industries in the world –Travel & Tourism, accounting for 10.6 percent of GDP and 221 million jobs worldwide.

This time around, over 400 exhibitors from the Aztec nation and overseas have signed up for an event that promises to lure some 3,000 buyers from the turf and a little more than 500 foreign purchasers.
