Jamaica has been awarded the Caribbean Hotel and Tourism Association's (CHTA's) Destination Resilience Award for its recovery efforts during the COVID-19 Pandemic and tourism resilience-building initiatives.
The president of the Caribbean Hotel and Tourism Association (CHTA), Nicola Madden-Greig, announced Wednesday that the 2024 edition of the Caribbean Travel Marketplace will be held in Jamaica.
"The state of the Caribbean industry is fantastic," said Nicola Madden-Greig, president of the Caribbean Hotel and Tourism Association (CHTA).
The Sandals Royal Barbados Hotel hosted this morning the second edition of the Caribbean Travel Forum, the event organized by the Caribbean Hotel and Tourism Association (CHTA).
As part of the second edition of the Caribbean Travel Forum, a panel was held to reflect on the collaboration between public and private institutions in the tourism sector. 
The year 2023 is expecting thousands of attendees and exhibitors, an exciting lineup of speakers and newly-scheduled programming for the three-day event that will take place at the Miami Airport Convention Center from June 13-15, 2023.
